Pat Pastors is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the State of Texas and a National Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She attained her Bachelors of Business Management at A&M-Kingsville and her Masters of Rehabilitation Counseling at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Ms. Pastors operates her private practice in San Angelo, Texas after being a part of West Texas Counseling and Guidance group practice. Her background includes jobs as a Rehabilitation Counselor with the State of Texas, Project Director of the Concho Valley Workforce center, Assistant to the Dean and At-Risk Advisor for the College of Engineering at A&M Kingsville.

In all of these roles, Ms. Pastors was a part of the educational system supporting transitioning students from high school into the world of work with the goal of self-sufficiency. Her objectives were to identify any barriers, functional limitations and personal issues that would impede this goal with the students and remedy them by creating a plan for success.

Ms. Pastors understands education is the foundation of the world of work and the students’ future. The WHIT program is a critical piece of the educational model enabling foster students to not be left behind due to their circumstances and she is excited to work with the tutors supporting the students.
