Liliana Mata is the Faith Based and Community Engagement Specialist for the Department of Family and Protective Services, Region 9. She is a previous CPS caseworker whose passion comes from working closely with struggling families during that time. Her goal is to serve the community by bringing hope and change for a better tomorrow.
Liliana proposed and led the projects of remodeling the CPS lobby as well as its four visitation rooms for the children. She founded the Christmas Hope Tree program which most recently helped 408 children during the holidays. She also led the Rainbow Emergency Resource Room to success during her time as the coordinator which now serves children over 1,000 times a year. She credits the community for making this possible as it was community funded and volunteer driven. A few of her recent accomplishments include the 20 under 40 Award by the Chamber of Commerce as well as being honored as an inductee into Marquee’s Who’s Who of America.
Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her family and to simply enjoy the moment.
